This chameleon lives from East Africa to Central Africa and West Africa.
Like other Chamaeleo, there is crest on the back and stomach.
The flap is smaller than Direpis and larger than Laevigatus.

You can distinguish by the size of the flap as described above between similar other chameleons,.
Habitat
In Tanzania, it seems to inhabit west of Arusha, Dodoma and Mbeya.
The administrator has searched a lot in Mbeya but has never seen it.
An acquaintance has observed in Dodoma.

Where to find
Like other chameleons, it seems to be on a tree branch about 1 to 3 meters above the surface.
