How to identify between similar species

There are many types that are likely to be mistaken because there are no horns.

You can identify by following characteristics.

・ There is no flap.

・ There are two white lines on the side.

・(Maybe) The tail is orange / brown.

Trioceros Ellioti also has an orange mottled pattern on the side of the body, but the pattern is different, so you can identify these by comparing with a photo.

Mt. Meru, Mt. Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

On iNaturalist, the observation records are evenly distributed at the above three locations, so i don’t know which place is the best..

Where to find

As with other chameleons, it is no doubt about 1 to 3 meters above the ground.
